I’m looking for a marketing person (no email marketing-just paid ads) for my wellness events to start ASAP. The event is called Treat the Source (more info on the vendor page here and the main page will be up by January: https://treatthesource.com/vendors )
This is a low-ticket event as opposed to most events that people are used to. This is not like other events. Our demographic is easily overwhelmed and struggling with their health and dealing with daily normal life so this is a “micro event” and as such, cannot use a super expensive marketing plan because the marketing cannot cost more than the event will generate. Most marketing companies are bidding these huge expensive campaigns that are not necessary for this type of event and also cost more than the event will generate.
I need to work with someone who can take the projections for the event and work backwards to create and execute an ideal and simple marketing plan. I want to work with someone who creates a marketing plan that will fit this event instead of delivering cookie cutter packages that are for bigger high-ticket events.
This demographic and “micro event” has a really strong pain point so it’s not as hard to get “butts in seats” as most business events would be and does not need the same marketing techniques that a bigger B to B event would need to meet our goals.
Also, I’m planning to do these events regularly and then take them to other cities so this could easily turn into an ongoing gig.
I’m not looking for someone to be “cheap” or work for less. However, this plan does not require as many bells and whistles as other events because of the pain point and the type of event and since it’s low ticket, it’s easier to sell the value of attending.
Specs:
- It’s ½ day (micro event) 10am – 2pm end of March (looking at 26th) in Scottsdale/Phoenix Area
- This is just for local people who live in this area
- No meals but 2 breaks with healthy organic snacks
- Event mission: to connect people who struggle with chronic mystery illness with local health professionals who they can go to and work with in person, local resources and an ongoing online community so that “you can get your health back, your life back, your REAL self back and live your life without your symptoms getting in the way!”
- Event will have 8 speakers who are local health professionals with different specialties/modalities talking about how they can help with these specific issues and will include Q&A from the audience with each speaker, 12 local health based vendors, an online community to continue to receive support, engagement, and stay in touch with the vendors and speakers after the event.
- The attendees have an opportunity to connect with 8 health professionals that they can “ask anything” in one room for one low price. If they had to try to find these people on their own and get appointments for consults, it would cost over $2000 and time and energy that they don’t have
- Pain point is people who struggle with chronic mystery illness, autoimmune, symptoms that interfere with their daily life
- Tickets are $197-$297 and expecting 75-100 people in person and planning to also do live stream also about 75-100

This is for you if you struggle with chronic symptoms whether or not you have been given a diagnosis and:
👉 were told your labs or normal and they can’t find anything but you know that doesn't feel right to you
👉 were put on meds to squash the symptoms but it's just causing more symptoms and not working well anyway
